The Invasive Species Centre will be hosting a free come-and-go event in collaboration with Batchewana First Nation, Evolugen, and Parks Canada. Join us on August 24th to learn more about invasive species, how to identify, report, and prevent their spread. This event will feature various booths of expert speakers from Invasive Species Centre, Batchewana First Nation, Parks Canada and Algoma University. The event will focus on aquatic and terrestrial invasive species, local initiatives, and traditional ecological knowledge. Learn about helpful tips and tricks for preventing and managing invasive species in your community!

Event details: This event will be held outside on August 24th and run from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Sault Ste. Marie Canal National Historic Site (1 Canal Drive, Sault Ste. Marie, ON). No registration necessary, just drop in! Pending inclement weather, the event will be moved to August 25th.
