DESCRIPTION:Hosted by Forests Canada as part of Invasive Species Awareness Week \nInvasive species can be found throughout Ontario\, causing major impacts to our forests\, communities and economy. This presentation for students grades 4-8 will look at what makes a species invasive and what invasive species can be found in Ontario’s forests. The presentation will also explore common invasive plants\, fungi and insects and will teach students how they can help prevent the spread of invasive species.
